Who is Physio/Rehab Good For?

Many people come to our clinic are between the ages of 35-65 and have been suffering with pain or stiffness for a while. Lots of them have been to GP first and tried rest and painkillers, their pain levels have not improved and they’re ready to try something new. They got back to being active without being in pain and shared their experience with others. To read some of their stories you can look at our testimonials, Facebook or Google reviews.

Clinical Pilates

Almost everyone knows pilates is great for back pain. But large group exercises classes are not for everyone. We offer one-to-one clinical pilates sessions with patients. So your exercises are just for you, at your level and taking your problems and goals into account. We can then give you a plan to work on at home and you can pop back in when it gets easy to get your plan updated and your back heath and general fitness improved.

Sports Massage

We see just as many office workers and mums as we see athletes for sports massage appointments. Athletes already know the benefits of a good sports massage but now everybody is realising the benefits. Office workers get so stiff from being stuck at a desk all day getting a sports massage can relieve the stiffness in their neck and back and have them feeling tons better. And we see lots of mums who pick up and carry kids all the time and spend lots of the day leaning over minding toddlers. Any they want a massage to relax but also a massage that will loosen of their back and shoulders. If you feel stiff and achy why not feel the benefits for yourself.

Acupuncture

Some people are a little scared of getting acupuncture but the needles are really tiny and lots of the time people don’t even notice them going in. Acupuncture is great for tight muscles or muscles that feel like they are going into spasm. Some of the absolute best results we see from acupuncture are immediate improvements from headaches and neck pain.

Kinesio Tape

Kinesio tape can help to support injured limbs and back pain. Loads of studies show kinesio tape reduces pain in the early stages of recovery. If you book a physio or injury rehab appointment and we think kinesio tape is likely to help you, we will apply it free of charge in the appointment time.
